GUIDELINES OF VIRTUAL PRESENTATION (OVERSEAS ONLY)

Since the COVID-19 situation is still not under control at this moment in time, the possibilities of overseas travel are still limited. The safety and well-being of all conference participants is our top priority. Therefore, if you cannot make it to Taiwan due to COVID-19 this month, please follow the guidelines below to prepare your presentation.

Please rest assured that we will make every effort to help you in all matters. We look forward to your participation irrespective of any challenge that 2020 may throw at us.


Oral Presentation

  • Please prepare your presentation data in PowerPoint format with narration. The length of each presentation should be 12 minutes. (Please browse this website for the instructions pertaining to a slide show with narration: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/record-a-slide-show-with-narration-and-slide-timings-0b9502c6-5f6c-40ae-b1e7-e47d8741161c)
  • Live Q&A is required. 2020 ICCE-TW will use Zoom as the virtual participation platform. Please be online no less than 10 minutes before the start of your session. The instruction of how to use Zoom and other guidelines for our participants will be announced soon.
  • There is no restriction on the number of slides, as long as you keep the time length specified above.
  • The file proportion should be 4:3.
  • Please show the presentation title, your affiliation and name on the first slide.
  • 2020 ICCE-TW will use Windows OS. To avoid garbled characters, please use standard font which is originally installed by OS.
  • Please provide your presentation file to the secretariat via email before September 15.

Poster Presentation
  • E-posters will be prepared for overseas participants.
  • Please provide a PDF file to the secretariat via email before September 15.
  • The poster will be shown on a 42 inch, 1080x1920 pixel display.
    For best viewing experience, please make your poster dimension to 9:16 ratio, and avoid text size under 12 pt.

DEMO Presentation
  • Please prepare a video DEMO. The length of the video should be 3-5 minutes.
  • Please provide your presentation file to the secretariat via email before September 15.
