Abstract:
In this talk, personal views on a successful research career will be shared with the audience. In particular, several main ingredients that are considered essential for leading to many successes for a scientific researcher will be illustrated via examples and experiences. These ingredients include: (1) fundamental scientific skill training, (2) board-minded academic attitude, (3) eloquent presentation skills to express oneself, (4) proficiency in collaborative thinking and exchange, (5) persistent in searching for the truth, and (6) becoming visionary at a commanding height. Finally, the speaker will share his view with the audience on what is the most important factor of all towards a successful research career.
