2014 ICCE-TW Submission

Authors are invited to submit 2-page technical papers presenting original, unpublished research, not currently under review elsewhere. All submissions should be 2 pages, written in English with a maximum length of 2 single-spaced, double-column pages using 10pt size fonts on 8.5 × 11 inch pages, including all figures, tables, and references. All paper submission will be electronic, in PDF format, through EDAS.

All papers in ICCE-TW proceedings will be submitted to IEEE Xplore for indexing. Please note that IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g. removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.

Authors of accepted and presented 2014 ICCE-TW papers are encouraged to submit enhanced and journal quality papers to the Transactions on Consumer Electronics. Authors should read the IEEE website http://www.ewh.ieee.org/soc/ces/publications_trans_ce.html and use the paper template on that site. The paper should make clear reference to and give a clear difference from the 2014 ICCE-TW paper.

Instructions for the Final Paper - Please Read Carefully

  1. Please ensure your final paper is 2-page. You must follow the formatting instructions on this site. A Microsoft Word template file has been provided here. Avoid commercialism in text and figures. Use of company names and/or part numbers is strictly prohibited.
  2. Submit a PDF of the final version of your paper to the online submission system. Only PDF documents will be accepted. To make sure your pdf is IEEE compliant, all the papers have to go through the file conversion offered by IEEE PDF eXpress. You can refer to the link here: http://www.pdf-express.org/. Click on the link "New Users - Click Here" and fill in your information. You will need the Conference ID, which is: 33210X.
  3. You must use Type 3, Korean, Asian, Japanese, or Chinese font packages in your paper, (for best printing results TimesNewRoman is recommended). Make sure ALL the fonts used in your paper are Embedded and Subsetted (even the basic/standard use 8.5" x 11" Letter size paper. A4 size will not be accepted.
  4. Font Issues: Make sure ALL the fonts used in your paper are Embedded and Subsetted (even the basic/standard fonts). Failure to do so will result in exclusion of your paper from conference proceedings.
  5. It is highly recommended that papers be submitted as soon as possible so that any problems can be resolved before publication.
  6. Please take notice that the Final Paper should be submitted by the 25th of April.
  7. Our registration system will be open soon. Each paper should have a registration with Full Registration Rate before the 25th of April, and each Full Registration can cover at most two papers. Any paper without registration will be dropped automatically.
  8. After uploading the final paper, please ensure you process the IEEE COPYRIGHT FORM. The IEEE COPYRIGHT FORM submission can be done in EDAS electronically. Submit the IEEE COPYRIGHT FORM following the instructions in the paper submission system. There are specific instructions that include the phone number to fax the form to that is available when you submit your Digest Paper.
  9. Most importantly, please ensure the similarity score is less than 33%. You can refer to EDAS to see the similarity score of your paper. According to IEEE regulations, any paper with a similarity score of more than 33% will be dropped and should be reported to IEEE. Please make sure your final paper follow this rule.
  10. With all your cooperation, the presentation schedule would be announced as soon as possible.
